July 01, 2015 // Franchising.com // Lansing, Mich. – TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/INTERNATIONAL, Inc. is proud to announce the recent promotion of Dawn Kroeger to marketing and communications director of its company headquarters in Lansing, Mich.
Kroeger, of Haslett, began her career with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® September 2004 as marketing manager for the Lansing, Mich., franchise along with two Grand Rapids, Mich., TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise locations, which at the time, were owned by Jon Sorber, one of the original stickmen and current executive vice president. Kroeger oversaw all marketing-related activities for those franchise locations including creating, executing, and tracking the local marketing strategy. Eventually, she transitioned from the Lansing franchise location, to the corporate office. Over the course of her nearly 11 years with the company, she has held numerous corporate positions including franchise marketing manager, marketing and communications manager, and most recently, communications and external affairs manager.
In her new role as marketing and communications director, Kroeger is now tasked with overseeing the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® national marketing strategy, marketing innovation, franchise marketing support, and developing a panel of franchise representatives to improve two-way communication and synergy between the home office marketing team and franchise system.
“I am honored and humbled to accept the marketing and communications director position,” said Kroeger. “The decade I’ve spent with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has resulted in a fierce passion for the brand and a strong desire to understand local franchise needs and deliver programs and tools to support continued growth. In this leadership role I will develop a plan for aligning the talented marketing team to fully support local franchise efforts while continuing to build the brand through innovative marketing concepts and tools.”
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/International, Inc., Chief Financial Officer Jeff Wesley said this transition was a natural fit given her proven track record in continuously living the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core values, which comes from investing nearly 11 years of experience as a key leader in both local franchises and the corporate marketing department.
