CiCi’s Pizza Challenge To Be Featured on Food Network Star

July 12 episode showcases competition to create a fiery-flavored pizza; winner to appear on CiCi’s nationwide buffet for five weeks.

July 09, 2015 // Franchising.com // COPPELL, TX – CiCi’s Pizza is always looking for the next innovative, mouthwatering addition to its endless pizza, pasta, salad, soup and dessert buffet.

On Sunday, July 12, the public will get its first glimpse of CiCi’s latest specialty pizza on Food Network Star, airing nationwide on the Food Network at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

As part of the show’s “Improv” episode, Food Network Star contestants are challenged to create a pizza with bold, kicked-up flavors. The resulting competition – including the dramatic winning selection – are must-see TV for pizza lovers everywhere!

“We enlisted the Food Network’s help in creating a new pizza for our buffet with some truly unique flavors, and the contestants on Food Network Star rose to the challenge,” said CiCi’s Chief Executive Officer Darin Harris, who also appears in the episode. “I can’t reveal the winning pizza, but I can say it’s extremely creative and delicious.”

The new pizza creation will appear at all CiCi’s restaurants nationwide for five weeks, beginning on Monday, July 13.

Tune into Food Network Star on Sunday, July 12, at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, for the big reveal. Then make plans to visit your nearest CiCi’s Pizza on Monday, July 13, to taste the winning pizza for yourself.
