ActiveRx Expands as Investors Jump on Opportunity to Offer Strengtherapy to 60+ Crowd
WESTBOROUGH, Mass. - July 15, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - ActiveRx, an emerging franchise brand with a national network of Strengtherapy® Centers, is fulfilling its mission of helping older Americans to age successfully, restoring vitality and the ability to live life to its fullest, through its scientifically proven Strengtherapy® System that regenerates years of functional strength.
With 11 open locations operating in eight states, ActiveRx has executed agreements that will add 20 new centers to its nationwide network. Company executives anticipate closing an additional 10-15 franchise agreements before the end of 2015 and as many as 20-25 more in 2016. ActiveRx has successfully established locations in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina and Texas, and will soon launch new Strengtherapy® Centers in Connecticut and Las Vegas.
In its most recent deal, the company announced plans to bring three to five centers to Florida, South Carolina and New England by the end of this year and add six to eight more in those states in 2016. Earlier this year, ActiveRx executed an agreement with a region developer to bring 25 units to the greater Houston market.
“Another person turns age 65 every seven seconds, and by the year 2020, older adults will outnumber young children for the first time in our history,” said Paul Reilly, CEO of ActiveRx. “Moreover, older adults are increasingly pursuing a healthier and more active lifestyle. Our proven Strengtherapy® system regenerates years of functional strength with a modest investment of time. At our Strengtherapy® Centers, ActiveRx facilitates these amazing transformations in an empowering and nurturing community that is committed to a culture of caring in an atmosphere that is vibrant and fun. Entrepreneurs interested in working with older adults and who believe in the opportunity that this population represents are strategically well positioned for long-term growth.”
In addition to seeking experienced multi-unit franchise operators and senior care franchise owners who are looking to broaden their portfolios, ActiveRx is recruiting driven, entrepreneurial physical therapists who want to specialize in active aging. In fact, the brand has introduced a special franchise ownership program aimed at attracting physical therapists who desire to build their own business.
“We built our Strengtherapy system on rigorous scientific research and are forging a path to evidenced-based strength regeneration,” Reilly added. “We have been impressed with the passion, commitment and enthusiasm that franchise prospects from a wide variety of backgrounds have shown to be a part of this exciting movement.
