To Benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Leading Early Education Provider's Local Centers to Present Donation Check to Local Hospital

DULUTH, Ga. - July 28, 2015 // PRNewswire // - Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies, a national early childhood education franchise with three decades of experience, along with 700 students from 11 of its centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will gather on July 31 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas for the Fourth Annual Summer Olympics to benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC). From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., students will compete in fun games, interact with TSRHC ambassadors and celebrate the success of their fundraising efforts. Additionally, a check presentation will take place during the opening ceremony where Zachary Killingsworth, a 15-year old patient of the hospital, and other hospital representatives will accept the donation from the school that raises the most money on behalf of the organization.

"We are thrilled to once again host the fourth annual Summer Olympics," said Bill Sample, owner of Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Arlington. "This inspiring event is not only about teaching children the value of teamwork and working together towards a common goal, but also the importance of giving back and its impact on the local community."

Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies in Dallas began its fundraising efforts for this year's Summers Olympics early in the summer and has raised more than $17,000 for TSRHC. Since its inception, the annual event has donated nearly $30,000 to various charitable organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

"We were honored to host and provide tours to more than 275 Kids 'R' Kids students at the hospital to show them how their fundraising efforts directly impact the lives of our patients," said Stephanie Brigger, vice president of development for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. "The children were able to learn about how they can help others and experience the joy of giving back. The hospital relies on the generosity of the community, and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this year's efforts."

In addition to summer camp, programs offered at Kids 'R' Kids include infant care, toddler and preschooler care, private Pre-K, Kindergarten, and before-and-afterschool care. In order to provide even more convenience for families with busy schedules, every Kids 'R' Kids school remains open during all major school breaks and holidays year-round.
