Award-Winning Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch Cafe Targets Little Rock for Egg-spansion

Another Broken Egg Cafe Scrambles into Little Rock with Two-Store Development Deal

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - August 04, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Another Broken Egg Cafe, an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch franchise, celebrated for its charming atmosphere and diversified menu options, has announced its introduction into the Arkansas market with a two-store development deal in Little Rock. With the first location slated to open by late spring, 2016, and a second location by the end of 2016, the welcoming lifestyle brand will quickly become a leader in the Little Rock dining scene.

Bringing in the ultimate dose of Southern hospitality, the Another Broken Egg Cafe locations in Little Rock will be owned and operated by brother-and-sister-duo Lacy Galligan and Ray Pynes II. The siblings were first introduced to the brand after falling in love with the restaurant in Destin, FL., where they vacationed frequently growing up.

When offered the opportunity to invest in their own franchise in 2010, the decision was a no-brainer for the siblings, who opened their first location in Shreveport, La., where they currently reside with their families. Finding success from the first day they opened their doors, Galligan and Pynes have since expanded with a second location in 2014 in Orange Beach, a popular vacation spot for many southerners.

Now, the duo has selected Little Rock as the perfect market to introduce what has become a widely-popular brunch destination across the country. Geared heavily around businesses and medical facilities during the weekdays and a combination of families, foodies and the general public on the weekends, Galligan and Pynes strategically chose Little Rock due to it being a growing city with a strong medical community.

“This is a thriving city, an advanced city and a foodie city,” said Galligan. “While the local restaurant scene has a strong presence, the brunch sector is currently under-served in this market. Little Rock residents will quickly discover that our southern-inspired cuisine and welcoming atmosphere is the perfect fit to fill that void. With over 130 delicious options, from Bananas Foster to Huevos Rancheros and eight ‘Signature’ Benedicts, our menu is sure to satisfy every palette.”

Launched in 1996, Another Broken Egg Cafe has become a darling of the South and Southeast. In addition to the award-winning dishes and charming ambiance, customers can belly up to the full-service bar and enjoy house-infused bloody marys and mimosas, along with a rotating list of locally brewed beers and spirits. With 49 locations across the U.S., the renowned brand plans to more than double its footprint over the next three years.
