SAN DIEGO, CA - (Marketwired - Aug 6, 2015) - Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. (OTCQB: VEND) is proud to announce that it has appointed JoAnna Abrams as the first member of its newly created Advisory Board.

Abrams, a business strategist, innovator and collaborator recognized for enhancing business, community and global health, will lend her extensive knowledge and experience to the Company's existing management team. With more than twenty years in the food, hospitality and consumer products industries, Abrams will be a valuable member of the healthy vending Company's team.

An award-winning professional, Abrams has led strategy, research, new product development, and supply chain sustainability efforts for consumer brands such as Marriott, MGM, Toyota and Wolfgang Puck. Abrams holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as a BS in finance from the University of Illinois. She currently lives with her husband and two daughters in Bend, Oregon.
