The UK’s Neds Noodle Bar Partners With Fransmart

London’s popular Asian takeaway concept will continue to expand with franchise locations.

August 11, 2015 // Franchising.com // London, England - Neds Noodle Bar, London’s award-winning concept which offers a branded and systematic approach to Asian street food, has partnered with Fransmart to build on its existing franchise program. Founded in 2000, Neds’ menu offers fast, fresh and healthy noodles and Asian dishes, made on premises from quality and natural ingredients according to a simple and fast method developed over the brand’s 15 years in operation.

The brand creates a unique and funky experience where customers build their own Asian boxes by choosing combinations of noodles or rice, sauce, fillings and toppings, and everything is made fresh to order in less than 3 minutes.

Neds Founder, James Breslaw, said of the decision to expand on the brand’s franchise development, “The Asian fast casual segment is a sizable and growing market. We are keen to work with partners who have the passion, experience, and resources to develop and grow the concept in their own territory.”

With three locations open throughout London (including one existing franchise in Shoreditch), Neds’ mission is to position noodles as a tasty yet healthy alternative to traditional fast food within the fast casual segment. Everything on the menu is made with natural, non-MSG/GM ingredients, most boxes are available gluten free, and the locations’ open kitchen floor plans provide a ‘theatre’ where customers can view dishes being made and see the freshness of the ingredients.

Fransmart is the franchise development company behind the explosive worldwide growth of brands like Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Vapiano, and will serve as Neds Noodle Bar’s exclusive franchise development partner. The brand will initially target the UK, Germany and the rest of Europe, as well as the Middle East, with plans to enter other markets in the future.
