FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Aug. 17, 2015 // PRNewswire // - Orangetheory® Fitness, the energizing and fast-growing fitness franchise, today announced that a new studio will be coming to Lexington, Ky. The Lexington studio will be located at 2369 Richmond Road, Suite #120. With one studio now open in the state and another in development, the innovative brand will continue to target Kentucky for expansion.
The new studio will be celebrating its grand opening with a VIP party on Thursday, August 20 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The VIP party will include food, prizes, vendors and an ice carving done by local legend and National Ice Carving Champion, Michael Stoddart from Lexington Ice Sculptures. The studio will officially open to the public on August 21, with classes starting at 5:30 a.m.
Two local female entrepreneurs, Amy Bassel and Stephanie Cronk, own the Lexington studio. Bassel has 20 years of experience in management and client relations at top companies such as Burger King, Compass Group, and ARAMARK Corp. Cronk has more than 20 years in the healthcare industry in both clinical and administrative roles. In addition to the studio in Lexington, the duo are the area regional managers for Cincinnati, and Bassel currently owns two studios in Sacramento, CA.
