Nation’s Fastest Growing Pizza Franchise Looks to Introduce 35 New Locations by Year’s End

TOLEDO, Ohio - August 25, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Marco’s Pizza, the fastest-growing pizza franchise in the United States, is targeting the Southeast for growth. With hundreds of franchise locations already open and operating in the region, the company has announced plans to open more than 300 additional locations through strategic franchise partnerships in the coming years. The new franchise locations would create approximately 6,000 new jobs.

New Marco’s Pizza locations will open under the leadership of Woody Johnson, Area Representative. Johnson owns 10 locations of his own and is actively seeking qualified franchise partners to open restaurants throughout the Southeast. Already working toward the goal of 35 locations by the end of the year, there are approximately 20 in various stages of active development, including upcoming openings in Burlington, N.C., Clayton, N.C., Byron, Ga., Glenville, Ga., Bradenton, Fla., and Birmingham, Ala.
