Fresh Healthy Vending Installs 50th Micro Market in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO, CA - (Marketwired - Sep 17, 2015) - (OTCQB: VEND) - Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. has installed its 50th corporate owned Micro Market as part of its recently launched corporate operating division. The installations of these corporate-owned fresh food systems are a landmark for the Company that has primarily focused its attentions on franchising since 2010.

Fresh Micro Markets are unstaffed, unattended, self-checkout kiosks that feature state-of-the-art point-of-sale, self-checkout software customized for an iOS operating system using an iPad tablet for scanning and purchasing products. The unit also features a unique and customized Fresh Micro Market Wallet / Loyalty App for mobile payments as well as NFC payment options such as Apple Pay, PayPal and Google Wallet. The most compelling feature of the Fresh Micro Market, however, is that it offers consumers fresh healthy meal options such as sandwiches, salads, wraps, gluten free meals, paleo meals, cold pressed juices and frozen products among a range of other healthy convenience food and sundry items.

Fresh Healthy Vending's corporate owned Fresh Micro Markets can be found in places such as Fox Sports San Diego and the San Diego Padres, car dealerships Penske Hyundai and Ball Mitsubishi, real estate agencies Keller Williams and BioMed Realty, plus Countrywide, Novotel, San Diego Girl Scouts, the Consulate Hotel and the El Cajon Police Department, to name but a few.

"My clients and our teammates alike enjoy the fresh and healthy selections of the Fresh Micro Market," says Scott Witt, Fixed Operations Director for Witt Lincoln, a San Diego auto dealership. "Healthy employees don't call in sick so their attendance is better and their productivity is greater -- everybody benefits from that. The easy to use Micromarket Wallet app is a real bonus, too."

"Having fresh and healthy meals, snacks and beverages right at our fingertips is perfect for our company's goals of providing healthy food options to our employees," says Mary Randall, Executive of Operations at TrendSource, a marketing research company based in San Diego. "We love the selection and convenience the Micro Market provides to our organization."

"Our corporate-owned installs are an important part of our growth strategy," says Art Budman, Fresh Healthy Vending's CEO. "Proving the concept in our backyard of San Diego before franchising the concept was extremely important to us. We will continue focusing our efforts on national accounts in order to grow this footprint of corporate-owned Micro Markets across the country. Operating our own Fresh Micro Markets and Fresh Healthy Vending machines also gives us highly valuable insight into current and future trends in the healthy vending world, proving invaluable to our franchisees."
