House Doctors to Donate Handyman Services for Ramp Campaign

Accessibility ramps will benefit disabled or senior community members.

September 28, 2015 // Franchising.com // Cincinnati, OH – Local House Doctors handyman franchisees across the country invite those in need of improved home accessibility to send submissions for the opportunity to have an accessibility ramp crafted for them.

The ramp campaign is part of a nationwide House Doctors effort to help give back to its community members by improving homes for those who may not be able to do it themselves.

“After all, there’s no place like home,” says House Doctors owner and CEO Jim Hunter. “We love our community and this is a simple way for us to help a local family that is in need of some time and craftsmanship.”

“Building these ramps will allow us to create a safer, more accessible home for those folks who may just need a little help,” Hunter says. “We’re in the business of beautifying neighborhoods one house at a time, and what is more beautiful than being able to safely get in and out of your own home.”

Interested applications are encouraged to creatively share their story – or nominate a loved one – via writing or video on the House Doctors Facebook page or in an email to info@theeisenagency.com. Applications will be accepted through December 2015 and the selected applicants will be notified next year.
