Newest Texas School of Rock Location Celebrates Grand Opening

September 28, 2015 // Franchising.com // CYPRESS, Texas - School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, announces the grand opening of its Cypress, Texas location on October 10th, 2015. Situated at 12904 Fry Road Suite 300, this School of Rock is located conveniently nearby the new developments of Bridgeland and Town Lake. To celebrate the new school, a grand opening celebration will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the afternoon, featuring tours, free trial lessons, live music, guitar smashing, food trucks, and raffles. In addition, there will be a ribbon cutting with the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce on October 1st, and scholarship contest auditions for, “In Search of the Cypress House Band,” held on October 3rd starting at 10 a.m. This scholarship contest seeks out the most talented musicians to fill the five coveted spots in the Cypress House Band, which includes positions for a bass player, lead and rhythm guitar, a drummer and vocalist.

The School of Rock music program continues to drum to its own beat with its newest location in Cypress. The franchise sets itself apart from other institutions in that it emboldens students to rock out with and support their fellow students in their musical journeys. Taking the focus off the individual and creating a vibrant team dynamic allows students to enjoy a unique, extremely passionate and motivating environment in which to learn.
