Smashburger to Open in Cortlandt, NY on Wednesday September 30

Free Shakes For A Year To First 50 Customers

DENVER - September 28, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, announced that it will open its newest New York restaurant at 3025 E Main St, Cortlandt, NY on Wednesday, September 30 at 10:00 AM. In celebration of the grand opening, Smashburger will be giving away free hand-spun shakes for a year to the first 50 customers who come through the doors. The first 50 guests will receive a re-usable Smashburger branded shake cup with a punch card to receive 52 free shakes with purchase.

This new Smashburger in Cortlandt will feature a menu created with regional flavors and tastes in mind. The menu includes the New Yorker burger or chicken sandwich topped with NY cheddar, garlic grilled onions, spinach, tomato and peppercorn garlic aioli on a brioche bun.

At Smashburger, the secret is in the smash. It starts with 100-percent—fresh, never frozen beef and is smashed on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, the delicious burgers are served on toasted artisan buns and topped with a selection of the freshest produce, real cheeses, and highest-quality condiments.

Smashburger has over 330 restaurant locations and is more than just burgers. Customers can also enjoy a selection of tender marinated grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches and fresh-tossed signature salads, along with a variety of irresistible sides including rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, Haystack Onions, and Veggie Frites (flash-fried and seasoned carrot sticks and green beans). The restaurant will also serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages ranging from handspun shakes, to root-beer floats in frosted mugs, and a selection of beer.

The 2,528 square foot Smashburger has dining room seating for 80 guests and will operate normal restaurant hours from 10:00AM to 10:00PM daily.
