Mosquito Squad has named Amy Lawhorne to the position of director of franchise operations.

RICHMOND, VA (PRWEB) September 30, 2015 - Mosquito Squad has named Amy Lawhorne to the position of director of franchise operations.

The Squad specializes in eliminating mosquitoes and ticks from outdoor living spaces and has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in America for the past five years by Inc. Magazine. With 180 locations in 32 states and the District of Columbia, the company opened new service areas in Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin in 2015. Also this year, The Squad launched a campaign with TV host and yard expert Jason Cameron to show homeowners the easy steps they can take to reduce the threats of mosquito and tick borne illnesses.

“We’re at a pivotal point in the mosquito and tick control category’s growth and our own, and as we head into our 10th year as a franchisor, it’s imperative that our operations team be strong, forward thinking and customer-service focused” said Rob White, Mosquito Squad’s vice president and brand leader. “Amy’s a rock star in the franchise industry and I know our franchisees will grow exponentially thanks to the operations, training and relationship building skills she adds to our team.”

Lawhorne brings extensive experience in operations management, sales, finance, human resource development, legal compliance and customer service to Mosquito Squad, most recently serving as chief operating officer of SFE, LLC where she oversaw more than 350 locations. Previously, she spent more than 20 years with Dairy Queen of Virginia, Inc. where she developed and implemented the business and operations plan, growing the company from 36 to 120 profit centers. She also served as a regional account manager for McLane Company, a $30B supply chain operations leader.
