Wag N’ Wash Signs Three New Franchise Agreements

September 30, 2015 // Franchising.com // DENVER – Wag N’ Wash Natural Food & Bakery, a full-line specialty pet retail and grooming store for cats and dogs, has signed three new franchise agreements for stores in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Hollywood, Maryland.

These latest developments are part of an aggressive growth plan for the brand to increase its presence throughout the United States. All three franchise agreements were signed with new franchisees who join Wag N’ Wash with diverse backgrounds ranging from a veterinarian and former animal hospital owner to an Alaskan miner.

Advertised as “one cool place,” Wag N’ Wash offers a community for pet enthusiasts to come, find quality goods and services for their pet companions, and simply be pet people. Among the store’s offerings are various brands of all-natural pet foods for dogs and cats, high-end supplements, grooming and washing facilities, and cool toys. In addition, an in-house bakery, rare in the pet store market, offers treats such as Liver Bites, Pumpkin Ravioli, Poochie Sushi and a variety of pies, cakes and muffins using all-natural human grade ingredients.

To date, Wag N’ Wash has nine stores open and operating in Arizona, Colorado and Minnesota. Company plans call for opening as many as 10 new stores nationwide over the next few years.

To augment the company’s growth, Wag N’ Wash is seeking pet enthusiasts who understand the connection between humans and family pets and are interested in running a business that has seen amazing success with store averages over $1.3 million in annual sales. The average investment to get fully up and running is approximately $380,000, which includes a franchise fee of $40,000.
