COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (PRWEB) October 20, 2015 - Relocating a senior or liquidating an estate when someone has passed can be extremely stressful. But now, thanks to Shelly and Brad Busby’s new Caring Transitions business in Colorado Springs, no one has to do it alone.
Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource for managing senior relocations as well as downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to organizing, packing, decluttering, moving and resettling, Caring Transitions can handle estate sales, liquidations and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Colorado Springs serves Colorado Springs, Old North End, Monument, Palmer Lake, Black Forest, Broadmoor, Falcon, Briargate and the surrounding areas.
Shelly and Brad have a combined total of more than 50 years of experience committed to caring for the needs of others in various areas of the service industry. For the last 15 years, Brad ran his own small residential paint company while Shelly served on staff at The Harvest Ministry. Shelly also worked with the Caring Transitions company in Dallas, before moving to Colorado Springs. As they settled into their new home in Colorado Springs, the Busby family knew opening their own Caring Transitions would be in the cards.
“We both fell in love with the opportunity to serve others with a focus on the preceding generations. I’ve spent most of my career working with young people, but our seniors are the same amazing people but with more stories,” Shelly said. “We are absolutely in love with our new home and we look forward to making a positive impact on our neighbors with this business.”
Whether your situation is planned or unexpected, Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation as well as busy families and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place.
“When our seniors are downsizing or moving into a retirement home, it can be a challenging experience. We want to ease that stress and help our clients see that this transition is not a step down – it’s a transition into what could be one of their best seasons,” Shelly said. “We are meeting people at their point of need.”
Shelly is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. Caring Transitions of Colorado Springs is bonded and insured, and all employees are background-checked.
Shelly and Brad have been married for 29 years and they have three children, Jake, Jessie and Anna. They two are already involved with the Senior Resource Council and are looking forward to becoming more involved in the community as the business grows.
