Resort Welcomes Visitors to the Pristine Natural Beauty of Commonwealth of Dominica on the Caribbean Coast
October 26, 2015 // Franchising.com // MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) today announced that the Tranquility Beach Resort Dominica will join Curio – A Collection by Hilton, a global set of remarkable hotels hand-picked for their distinctive character and personality, appealing to passionate travelers seeking local discovery. The Tranquility Beach Resort Dominica, Curio Collection by Hilton, is expected to open in 2018.
The property will encompass a gated community of 60 one- or two-bedroom villa suites built in 15 new buildings along the Dominica coastline, accessible by a private beach path and surrounded by the luscious greenery of the country’s indigenous forest. It will include a pool, two 1,200 square-foot meeting and event spaces, a wellness center and gym.

The Tranquility Beach Resort Dominica will be perched along the shores of Salisbury on the west coast of the island, which is known for its natural surroundings, creole cuisine and dive sites of coral reefs and crystal-clear waters.

Dubbed “The Nature Island of the Caribbean”, Dominica is a rugged landscape of blue-green slopes, waterfalls, and volcanic mountain peaks covered in tropical rain forests rising almost 5,000 ft. The island is home to one of the largest boiling lakes in the world at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Morne Trois Pitons National Park, just a short drive from Salisbury.
