Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton to Arrive in Minneapolis

University Area Hotel will Open Doors in the Summer of 2016

November 05, 2015 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. and MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of a franchise license agreement with Minneapolis Hotel Ventures and Kaeding Development Group & Prospect Park Development Company to build the 117-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton – University, joining the Hampton by Hilton portfolio of more than 2,050 mid-priced Hampton Inn by Hilton, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton hotels. The 5-story building will be located at 2812 University Ave SE, Minneapolis and will be managed by Kaeding Management Group.

Located near the University of Minnesota, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton – University will provide an upper midscale, focused service option to those visiting the university, and area businesses and attractions.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton – University will offer amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing, a boardroom-style meeting space, pool, fitness center and full-service bar. The hotel will also provide free On the House hot breakfast as well as Hampton’s On the Run™ breakfast bags, available Monday through Friday for those on the go.

The new hotel will feature Hampton’s signature Perfect Mix Lobby, designed as an extension of the guestroom with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers. Additionally, the hotel will feature TREATS, a new food and beverage shop filled with snacks, toiletries, local merchandise and drinks for purchase.

Guestrooms will be equipped with the brand’s signature Clean and fresh Hampton bed®, LCD TV, microwave, fridge and coffeemaker.
