College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Continues Expansion on Florida's East Coast

Brevard-Based Franchise Location Is Latest in Company's Widening Florida Presence

TAMPA, FL - (Marketwired - Nov 16, 2015) - College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving has opened its latest franchise in Brevard County, Florida, continuing an aggressive growth strategy throughout the state that includes not just new locations, but local marketing campaigns to showcase the brand's differentiators.

Owner Jeff Sexton's College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving franchise will range south to Melbourne and Palm Bay and north to Titusville, an 82-mile-long territory that includes areas such as Cocoa Beach and ranges 25 miles inland. It's a lot of ground to cover, but the former trial lawyer says years of navigating the legal system has given him a strong sense of what's needed to succeed.

"Good lawyers always have a strategy when heading into the courtroom," Sexton said. "Strategy's also something that's very important to College Hunks Hauling Junk moving and junk removal franchise owners. In both situations every case is different, and every outcome depends on solid planning."

"We hear from all kinds of people when it comes to setting up a franchise," said Omar Soliman, CEO and co-founder of College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving. "Some, like Jeff, at first glance seem to come from a completely different world. But once we met him and started talking business plans and operational goals, we realized his years of running a successful law practice in a competitive market gave him the marking savvy and other skills that will serve him well in our business."

Sexton agreed, saying that the brand really markets itself.

"Our trucks get noticed. The colors and the logo are great on all our trucks and branding, and our appearance is very professional. We also are very professional in the performance of our duties. I think of our core values -- listen, fulfill, and delight -- set us apart on every job," he said. "We're clean-cut, our shirts are tucked in, and we're employing college students -- which is a great way to help young people learn how a business operates. Also, we recycle about 60 percent of our materials through donation or reuse, and so we're much more eco-friendly than our competition. These are all points that I will be pointing out to potential clients, but that they'll see in action, each and every day, as we move through the streets."

Community involvement is more than just being seen moving items from one side of town to the other, Soliman added.

"Another reason we were excited to team up with Jeff is his enthusiasm for where he lives," Soliman said. "When we expand into a new area, we want to do more than just run a good business. We want to be a valued community partner and give back. Jeff has lots of ideas on how to do that."

"I coached my son in baseball for many years, so I'm also looking at sponsoring a youth baseball team," Sexton said. "I want us to be active in things like cancer walks, so we can really drive home how community-focused College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving is. I'm one of five boys in my family. I've always been involved with fraternal-type organizations like the Boy Scouts and baseball teams, and this is a business that has the same kind of collegial, 'everybody lends a hand' atmosphere."
