Pieology Announces Plans for First North Florida Location

Skinner Bros. Realty Brings Popular Pizza Concept to the Nocatee Town Center

November 17, 2015 // Franchising.com // Rancho Santa Margarita, California - Pieology Pizzeria, where pizza lovers go to create artisan style custom pizzas in endless flavor combinations at one affordable price, will open its first North Florida location in the heart of Nocatee Town Center, owned by Skinner Bros. Realty. Pieology, headquartered in Southern California, was recently ranked America’s fastest growing restaurant chain by Technomic, the leading fact-based consulting and research firm serving the food industry. The brand new retail building is scheduled for completion in winter 2016. Pieology will join tenants including Dunkin Donuts, M-Shack, Big Fish Yoga, Coastal Wine Market and Verizon Wireless.

“We’re thrilled to bring Pieology’s signature experience, which allows guests to express their individuality in the form of a delicious pizza, to the exceptional tenant mix in our retail center,” said Riley Skinner. “Our goal is to provide the Nocatee community with a destination where they can enjoy a variety of unique restaurants, retailers and services, unlike anything else in the area.”

The Pieology experience starts with fresh house-made dough that is pressed into 11.5-inch thin pizza crusts, which is typically larger than other in the custom pizza space. Guests first select from eight signature sauces, moving down the line to choose from more than 40 fresh and flavorful meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs, and spices. The customized pizzas are then stone oven fired to perfection in less than three minutes. To finish, guests have the option to add Pieology’s signature after-bake “Flavor Blast” sauces, including fiery buffalo, pesto and BBQ, to really make it their own! Each custom pizza with unlimited toppings is always offered at one low price. Pieology also offers gluten-free crust, whole wheat crust, Daiya Vegan cheese (at select locations) and a selection of seven signature pizzas, which can be customized upon request.

Pieology will occupy a 2,552 square foot space in the 11,670 square foot retail building. The retail building is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2016. The remainder of Town Center East consists of three outparcels, two of which front Crosswater Parkway, the major thoroughfare that serves the Nocatee Town Center. The third outparcel (2.48 acres) is designated for future retail, office or medical use, and has access off the signaled intersection of Nocatee Village Drive.
