Social Campaign to Launch in Support of #GivingTuesday and 25-Cent Donation Program for Camp Sunshine
ATLANTA - Nov. 24, 2015 // PRNewswire // - Temperatures may be dropping but, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is embracing the warm spirit of doing good for others. The leading fast-casual concept, known for its better-for-you food and smoothies with a tropical twist, is launching a 25 Days of Giving social campaign beginning December 1st in an effort to raise funds, awareness and recognition for a long standing partner of the brand, Camp Sunshine. For the first 25 days of December, the campaign will not only feature Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life threatening illnesses as well as their families, but it will also applaud and recognize many other community-based non-profits. Kicking off on #GivingTuesday, the globally recognized day of giving back, Tropical Smoothie Cafe will leverage social media to feature a different non-profit, celebrity or volunteer daily who help to make a difference in their local communities. The campaign will also include ideas for how to volunteer.

In addition to the 25 Days of Giving social campaign, guests who visit any participating Tropical Smoothie Cafe during the month of December will also have the opportunity to add 25 cents or more to their check with all the proceeds going directly to Camp Sunshine.
"In June, we raised more than $1 million for Camp Sunshine and learned that by working together we can move mountains," continued Rotondo. "We now want to feature some of the many faces in our community who are making an impact."
The brand is going on 10 years of involvement with Camp Sunshine. During that time, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has raised more than $3.5 million for Camp Sunshine making them the single largest corporate sponsor for this wonderful organization.
