UnitedCountry.com Continues Web Traffic Momentum through 2015

Internet Searches for Lifestyle1 Real Estate Hitting Historic Highs 

February 04, 2016 // Franchising.com // KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The continued expansion of technology brought millions of real estate consumers to the World Wide Web to buy or sell lifestyle and rural real estate in 2015.  As buying decisions gain momentum online, United Country Real Estate’s web traffic reflects this trend in the buying cycle.

According to United Country, the nation’s largest seller of non-urban real estate, visitor traffic at the firm’s national top-ranked lifestyle real estate website remained the highest it’s ever been through the fourth quarter.

“Over the last two years, United Country has continued to see record breaking growth,” said David Dickey, chief technology officer for United Country Real Estate. “In July alone, our largest website,UnitedCountry.com  received more than 1,600,000 visitors – breaking all-time records for our firm.”

In 2015, UnitedCountry.com saw an increase in web traffic every quarter compared to 2014. The second quarter saw a 16 percent increase and finished the year with a 6 percent increase. In May, UnitedCountry.com received a historic amount of unique visitors coming to the site. The site also received more than 61,000 users per day.

According to Mike Duffy, president of United Country Real Estate, these numbers only reflect traffic for the company’s primary national website, UnitedCountry.com, and do not take into consideration the company’s other 3,500-plus property specific, lifestyle, local office and niche market websites.

“The launch of our specialty property marketing websites has caused our web traffic to sky rocket all around,” said Duffy. “These numbers continue to grow and dwarf the performance of all other major national real estate brands on a per-listing, per-office and per-agent basis. This clearly reveals the ever-continuing interest in the type of lifestyle, vacation home, recreational, retirement, small city and town, land, ranch, farm and other rural real estate we transact in every day.”
