Jack in the Box® Partners with Make-A-Wish® Arizona to Help Grant Children’s Wishes

All funds raised from the sale of $1 Wish Stars at participating Jack in the Box restaurants will grant wishes for Arizona kids

PHOENIX - February 29, 2016  - (BUSINESS WIRE) - For the third year in a row, Jack in the Box® is partnering with Make-A-Wish® Arizona to help grant wishes for children living in Arizona with life-threatening medical conditions.

Throughout the month of March, more than 160 Jack in the Box restaurants in the Phoenix and Tucson areas, as well as locations in Lake Havasu City and Flagstaff, will sell $1 Wish Stars in hopes of raising enough funds to grant at least 10 Arizona wishes.

“As a member of the Make-A-Wish Arizona Board of Directors, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact a wish can have on a child going through a very difficult time,” said Adam Stine, Jack in the Box Franchise Operator. “Thanks to the generous support of our Arizona franchisees, restaurant teams and customers, I’m confident we can raise enough funds to grant more wishes than ever.”

“For the past three years, Jack in the Box customers and employees have opened their hearts to donate funds to grant wishes for Arizona kids in need of hope, strength and joy,” said Elizabeth Reich, chief executive officer and president of Make-A-Wish Arizona. “Our partnership with Jack in the Box has helped grant more than 20 wishes in the past two years, and we hope their guests and employees will continue that level of generosity to grant 10 more this year!”

Currently, more than 400 Arizona kids are waiting for their one true wish to be granted. All dollars raised in Arizona will fund wishes for Arizona children.
