Fresh Healthy Vending Taps Craig Stein as Director of Business Development to Drive New Brand

Stein Brings 15 Years of Industry Experience to Lead the Company's New Reis & Irvy's Frozen Yogurt "Robot" Brand

SAN DIEGO, CA - (Marketwired - Mar 1, 2016) - Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc.(OTCQB: VEND), the nation's leading healthy vending franchisor, today announced Craig Stein as the company's new Director of Business Development. Craig is an industry veteran whose main purpose will be to help grow and develop Fresh Healthy Vending's (FHV) newest concept, the Reis & Irvy's robot-manned frozen yogurt vending kiosk.

"We're confident that Craig's previous experience makes him the perfect guy to kick-start and accelerate our new brand," says Nick Yates, chairman of FHV. "Craig's role will be largely focused on the development and execution of a national location procurement strategy for both franchisees and the company's corporate operating division launching our Reis & Irvy's brand into the market."

Stein is a business development expert with over 15 years of business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience in fields including advertising, consumer products and technology commercialization. He previously worked as a consultant for Yeh! Yogurt, an international frozen yogurt franchise, and has secured deals with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Match.com and Virgin America.

Despite being a lifelong athlete and wellness advocate, Stein is also a cancer survivor. "Getting involved professionally in the health and wellness industry was crucial for me after I won my own battle with cancer back in 2004," says Stein. "I love what Fresh Healthy Vending stands for, and am excited to join forces with the company to help others find their path towards a healthier lifestyle, while also helping to launch and develop this innovative new frozen yogurt concept to include a healthy 'robot' which will be primarily geared towards schools and hospitals."

Stein currently sits on the board of advisors for First Descents, an organization that provides free, outdoor adventure programs to the young adult cancer community. He holds an MBA in marketing and strategy in addition to a Master's of Sports Management degree from the Ohio State University.

Fresh Healthy Vending International anticipates an upcoming name change to Generation Next Franchise Brands and will officially launch its second franchise concept in April 2016. The company also announced last week the appointment of Paul Schmidt as its new Chief Marketing Officer to drive the brand's overall growth and development.
