Christian Brothers Automotive Franchise to Expand Into Greenville, South Carolina

Second South Carolina Location for Fast-Growing Auto Repair Franchise

GREENVILLE, SC - (Marketwired - March 15, 2016) - Christian Brothers has announced plans to open a new auto repair franchise location in Greenville, South Carolina.

The faith-based automotive franchise will be opening the new store in fall 2016 as part of its overall expansion into the South Carolina market. The company's first South Carolina location opened in Tega Cay in July 2014.

Greenville is one the fastest-growing metro areas in the nation, with population growth of more than 30% since 2000 and an economy that is booming after transitioning from textiles to auto manufacturing, aircraft engineering, and technology. The area's growth makes it a promising place to open an auto repair franchise.

Christian Brothers has more than 150 locations and has been growing at a record pace. The company attracts customers by offering a Nice Difference™ approach to automotive repair, including beautiful lobbies, clean repair bays and courtesy shuttles that make it easy for customers to drop off their cars for maintenance or repair and still make it wherever they need to go.

Franchisees are attracted by the company's values and its bottom line. In 2015, Christian Brothers opened 19 new locations. Christian Brothers franchises generated average revenues of $1,225,862 in 2014, according to the company's 2015 Franchise Disclosure Document. Franchise candidates need just $75,000 in liquid capital and a minimum net worth of $200,000. Startup costs, which range from $403,100 to $474,600, are low because Christian Brothers buys the land and builds the facility for the franchisees who will run the business. Rather than charging royalties, Christian Brothers splits profits with the franchisee, so the company doesn't make money until franchisees make money.

"We've worked to create a business that will attract people who are focused on customer service, integrity and giving back to the community," said CEO Mark Carr. "We work together to be a light in the auto repair industry, take stress out of customers' lives and treat them like we'd like everyone to be treated."

Franchise Business Review recently named Christian Brothers a best auto repair franchise, based on franchisee satisfaction. The market research firm surveyed 28,000 franchisees representing more than 300 brands. Franchise Business Review also named Christian Brothers one of the Top 50 brands overall for the 9th year in a row.

Entrepreneur Magazine also includes Christian Brothers on its annual Franchise 500 list.

The location in Greenville will be available to open in Fall 2016. To learn more, visitwww.christianbrothersfranchise.com.
