Venkat received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in biochemistry. She spent seven years as a researcher at the University of Washington Medical Center in the field of fertility and clinical lab work. She also spent seven years managing multiple labs in the in vitro fertilization (IVF) field at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Venkat first heard about Best in Class six years ago when looking for tutoring options for her own children. After multiple in person conversations at parent-teacher conferences and checking her children’s homework, she became alarmingly aware that the education her children were receiving in school fell short. Searching for more advanced classes for her kids, she began researching programs in Seattle and it was clear that Best in Class was the superior choice. Venkat aims to tackle the education challenges in Texas at the local level and inspire kids to be passionate about learning from a young age, helping them develop reading and math skills that support Texas’ STEM focused education.
