GAITHERSBURG, MD (PRWEB) March 31, 2016 - Glory Days Grill, an award-winning sports grill and bar, is proud to celebrate its twentieth anniversary as the quintessential neighborhood sports restaurant. Opening its first restaurant on April 16, 1996 in Burke, VA, the company has grown to 26 company owned and franchised restaurants in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Florida, with more planned. Glory Days Grill’s success and reputation have been built on three pillars of focus, including excellence in food, a love of sports, and generosity in the community.

The twentieth anniversary celebration will begin in April and last throughout the remainder of the year. All Glory Days Grill restaurants in Northern Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia will feature a “20 for 20” appetizer platter and a Twentieth Anniversary Ale brewed specially for the company by Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co. – both for a limited time. They will also kick off the baseball season with “Pass the Ball”, a game played at the bar for guests during selected games, featuring prizes when the home team scores hits and homeruns.

The first restaurant located in Burke, VA will host its Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, April 20th featuring specials, games, prizes and giveaways. “Looking back at the last twenty years, we are so proud of where we started and where it all began,” says Jeff Newman, Co-Founder and President. “Although we want to celebrate this achievement fully with our employees and our fans, this accomplishment is just the tip of the iceberg. We are dedicated to Glory Days Grill’s success and growth, and you will see many more restaurants opening during the next 20 years.”
