Pizza Pizza expands in Ottawa, adding a 26th location in the region

Canada’s leading pizza chain opens second location in Barrhaven

May 10, 2016 // Franchising.com // BARRHAVEN, ON – Pizza Pizza continues to expand in the National Capital Region, opening its newest restaurant at 3131-3201 Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven, one of Ottawa´s fastest growing communities. Pizza Pizza´s second location in Barrhaven is located in the Strandherd Crossing plaza located at the intersection of Woodroffe and Strandherd.

The new location will employ 10 full-time and part-time staff serving Pizza Pizza’s wide variety of hot and fresh menu items, which includes classic, gourmet and gluten-free pizzas, as well as chicken wings and newer innovations like classic oven-baked pasta, Funnel Cake Stix, poutine, boneless chicken bites, Italian sandwiches, and salads. The restaurant offers the convenience of pick-up and dine-in, as well as take-out and delivery options.

“Barrhaven has been quickly expanding and a second location means we’re even closer to the community,” said Pat Finelli, Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Pizza Limited. “We’re excited for our new neighbours to dine-in or take home one of our hot and fresh pizzas they’ve come to love.”

Pizza Pizza opened its first location in the Ottawa area in 1986 and currently has 26 locations in the region.
