Retailer to hire 31 local job seekers for its new showroom featuring Art Van PureSleep, Art Van Clearance Center and Art's Backyard

WARREN, Mich. - June 10, 2016 // PRNewswire // - Art Van Furniture is coming to Cadillac! The Midwest's number one furniture and mattress retailer plans to open a new 45,000-square-foot showroom this August in the former Walmart store at the Lakeland Shopping Center, across the street from the Meijer and Applebee's Restaurant.

Art Van Furniture will hire 31 local job seekers for a variety of full- and part-time sales associate positions and hourly positions. Located at 8917 East 34 Road, the new Cadillac store will feature a number of Art Van Furniture product lines, including Art Van PureSleep, Art Van Clearance Center and the popular Art's Backyard Outdoor collection.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off the grand opening celebration at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, featuring remarks by Art Van CEO Kim Yost. The festivities will continue through the weekend with giveaways and the chance to enter a $10,000 drawing for a home makeover. A free party on Saturday, Aug. 13, will provide family-friendly entertainment with clowns, crafts, live music and refreshments.

Art Van Furniture currently operates 56 furniture showrooms throughout Michigan, Indiana, Ohio andIllinois, has 42 free standing Art Van PureSleep mattress stores, and is opening two new furniture showrooms in Iowa this July.
