Good Times on Tap for Louisiana as Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery Expands
Nationwide Pub & Eatery to Introduce Four New Locations to the Pelican State
TEMPE, Ariz. - June 27, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Authentic pub fare and craft beer with a side of sexy servers is growing their presence throughout the state of Louisiana. Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, a sports pub that pays homage to the old public houses of America, England, Scotland and Ireland, is pleased to announce the introduction of four new pubs, over the next five years. After growing the brand’s presence on the East Coast and in the Midwest, this is the first development push for Tilted Kilt in Louisiana.
With the first of the four locations already underway with local operators, the new pub is set to break ground for construction in Gonzalez. This first pub in the Louisiana market should bust onto the scene in 2017. The strong community fan bases for local teams such as the Saints, Pelicans and LSU Tigers makes it an extremely desirable growth market for Tilted Kilt.
Building on the momentum of these recent developments, Mark Hanby, senior vice president of franchise development and his team, are now tasked with introducing the growing entertainment restaurant across the state. “With an intimate knowledge of both the Tilted Kilt brand and the Louisiana market, we are primed and poised to grow in the region,” said Hanby. “With development in its early phases, there are open territories and franchise opportunities across the state and we are eagerly seeking local entrepreneurs and business leaders to bring the Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery to their communities.”
Targeted development areas in Louisiana include New Orleans, Shreveport, Alexandria, Ruston, West Monroe and Baton Rouge. Hanby and the team are actively searching for real estate throughout Louisiana. “With the new Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Don Pierson Jr. on board to strengthen the agency’s commitment to growing small businesses to fuel the state’s economy, we feel now is the ideal time for Tilted Kilt to expand in the area,” said Hanby. “It also helps that Louisiana is home to some of the greatest sports fans in the South. I am confident in our ability to grow the Tilted Kilt brand, expanding our footprint throughout key cities across the state.”
With more than 95 locations open across the United States and Canada, the Tilted Kilt boasts sexy servers, classic Celtic décor, traditional pub fare and sports all under one roof. The architectural features at every location remind guests they are in a classy establishment. Dark mahogany wood fills the bar and the stained glass doors and wainscoting add to the charm. Combined with pool tables, dart boards and large plasma TVs, Tilted Kilt is the best place to watch sports and hang out with friends. Humorous and slightly bawdy limericks are even seen throughout the pub, creating an atmosphere that is fun and entertaining.
