New Kumon Math and Reading Center Opening at Longmeadow-South with Plans for More in the Region

TEANECK, N.J. - July 5, 2016 // PRNewswire // - Kumon, the world's largest after-school education franchise, is expanding in Western Massachusetts with the opening of a new center in Longmeadow. Kumon Math and Reading Center of Longmeadow-South will give thousands of additional parents access to a nearby learning center for their preschool to high school aged children.

There are currently seven Kumon Centers in Western Massachusetts with plans for additional expansion in the region. Kumon is seeking prospective small business owners with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for helping children reach their full academic potential.
A recent study by the National Assessment of Education Progress shows a decline in the percentage of students who are considered prepared for college-level work in reading and math.
