Nature’s Table Receives Award in Best Sandwiches in America Contest

Restaurant Hospitality gives the Fish Taco Wrap an honorable mention.

July 12, 2016 // Franchising.com // ORLANDO, Fla. – Nature’s Table, a fast-casual restaurant focused on fresh and healthy dining, has been awarded an honorable mention for its Fish Taco Wrap in the Best Wraps category of Restaurant Hospitality’s Best Sandwiches in America 2016 contest. The contest was judged according to the sandwich’s key ingredients, inspiration, uniqueness, and reputation. The wrap was also secretly tasted by Restaurant Hospitality editors.

“We, along with our loyal customers, have always known the Fish Taco Wrap is as delicious as it is healthy, and it’s very exciting to see  the impartial judges loved it as much as we do,” said Rich Wagner, Senior Vice President and Co-Founder of Nature’s Table. “We brought this menu item on to include fish as another healthy protein choice for our customers, and we’re overjoyed at its success and warm reception from our guests.”

The Fish Taco Wrap consists of grilled Alaskan Whitefish, Napa cabbage, shredded carrots, house-made corn salsa, English cucumbers, tortilla chips and a house-made chipotle avocado lime aioli. Guests can choose between a jalapeño cheddar, spinach, wheat, white, or sundried tomato tortilla. The wrap is toasted before serving.

This is not the first time Nature’s Table has been recognized for its sandwiches in this contest. In 2013, the Baja Turkey Jack Panini won an honorable mention in the turkey sandwich category. The Baja Turkey Jack consists of all-natural, hormone-free turkey, pepper jack cheese, tomato and avocado-jalapeño mayo on toasted ciabatta bread.
