National Ranking Identifies America’s Best Agents
More RE/MAX Agents in Annual Survey than Any Other Brand
July 13, 2016 // Franchising.com // DENVER – Real estate agents affiliated with RE/MAX have once again dominated the esteemed 2016 REAL Trends “America’s Best Real Estate Agents” ranking. RE/MAX agents accounted for 22 percent of those listed in the industry’s largest agent ranking based on homes sold in 2015.
“RE/MAX agents are often recognized for their outstanding work and dedication to their home-buying and selling clients,” said Dave Liniger, RE/MAX CEO, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board. “With RE/MAX agents representing more than one in five of ‘America’s Best Real Estate Agents,’ consumers understand that RE/MAX agents have the experience to get the job done in today’s market.”
RE/MAX affiliates accounted for 2,691 of the more than 12,000 participating agents in the survey, with nearly one-third more agents named than the next highest ranking brand. Coldwell Banker finished second and Keller Williams came in third.
The fourth annual survey groups agents by state and metro areas. Both individual agents and teams are recognized for sales volume and/or transaction sides. One-third are ranked for both, including 570 RE/MAX agents.
Facts about the qualifying RE/MAX agents and teams:
- RE/MAX agents and teams accounted for 28% of the rankings for transaction sides (2,458 of 8,674)
- The 1,635 individual RE/MAX agents who qualified for the survey averaged 71 transaction sides last year, and $29.6 million in sales volume
- 1,056 RE/MAX teams qualified for the survey averaging 141 transaction sides, and $52.4 million in sales volume
The “America’s Best” ranking is an offshoot of the REAL Trends “The Thousand,” as advertised in The Wall Street Journal. This report ranks the top 1,000 U.S. agents from a pool of more than 12,000 participating agents who met production minimums. Those named in “The Thousand” also are included in “America’s Best.”
In this year’s “The Thousand,” nearly 15% of the agents recognized were affiliated with RE/MAX, which is more than any other brand.
