Papa John's Opens Its First Store In The Netherlands

American pizza chain brings "Better Ingredients. Better Pizza." concept to the Rijnstraat in Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM - July 18, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Papa John's International, Inc., world's third-largest pizza delivery company, opens their first Dutch store on Monday, July 18th. The store is located at Rijnstraat number 60 in Amsterdam and will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Papa John's is renowned globally for their ‘Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.' concept. The new restaurant is one of more than 100 Papa John's restaurants planned for the Netherlands. The opening of another 2 stores is planned for this year.

The new venture is owned and operated by a consortium of five Papa John's Master franchisees in the U.K.: Tony Kalsi, Prasoon Patel, Jitesh Patel, Jaspal Gill and Anil Patel. The venture is led by Mr. Tony Kalsi. Mr. Kalsi said, "We look forward to introducing new customers in Amsterdam to our quality ingredients. Our hand-tossed fresh original dough, fresh-packed tomato sauce and cheese made from mozzarella make a truly better pizza. The entry into the Netherlands continues Papa John's expansion in Europe.
