The Halal Guys Announce Las Vegas Grand Opening on August 12 for First Restaurant in Nevada

August 02, 2016 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS – The Halal Guys franchisee, FOMO THG LLC, has announced the grand opening on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, for the famed restaurant chain’s Las Vegas location, its first site in the state of Nevada. The exciting restaurant concept will be unveiled at 3755 Spring Mountain Rd., Suite 101, just off the busy Las Vegas Strip in the vibrant Chinatown area.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m., with the doors officially opening at 10 a.m. The event will kick off with limited exclusive free swag, entertainment and more. 

“Las Vegas is an amazing environment with action that just never stops,” said Rene Hjorth, Director of Operations for FOMO THG. “We’re absolutely stoked to be part of it and bring our incredible food and spirit to the mix.”

The new Las Vegas restaurant will offer The Halal Guys unique menu of American halal food, with a taste profile that cannot be replicated in any other cuisine format. It features flawlessly cooked, premium quality halal meats that are seasoned to perfection in a melting pot of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors.

The Halal Guys menu includes:

• Chicken, gyro, falafel platters with rice, pita, lettuce and tomatoes
• Chicken, gyro, falafel sandwiches with pita, lettuce and tomatoes
• Hot and white sauce and choice of toppings
• Sides: fries, hummus or tahini with pita, extra sauce
• Dessert: baklava

The 1,800-sq.-ft. location will employ a total of 90 full and part-time, highly trained, friendly staff serving customers daily from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m.

Customers should expect long lines and high temperatures and are advised to wear sun protection such as a hat and sunscreen.

The legendary Manhattan food cart operator has grown from humble beginnings as a New York City hot dog cart to a world-renowned international restaurant chain defining a new, thriving segment for the industry with its distinctive fare of gyros, chicken and falafel over rice.
