PizzaRev Opens First Massachusetts Location in Cambridge

August 09, 2016 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES, CA – PizzaRev announced the opening of its first Massachusetts restaurant today. The growing build-your-own pizza concept makes its Boston-area debut at CambridgeSide Galleria (www.shopcambridgeside.com), an urban shopping center with more than 120 stores and restaurants. CambridgeSide was named ‘#1 Boston’s Best Malls and Shopping Centers’ by USA Today 10Best.

“CambridgeSide is a great first location for us, allowing us to introduce the brand to a large and diverse population of shoppers and area employees,” said franchise owner Colin Parker. “We’re excited to open Massachusetts’ first PizzaRev and bring the PizzaRev-olution to pizza lovers in the Commonwealth.”

PizzaRev is on a mission to change how consumers think about pizza with offerings like fresh pressed, homemade dough, locally sourced ingredients, all-natural cheeses and vegan and gluten-free options. PizzaRev offers a fully-customized dining experience that empowers guests to craft a personal pizza, including any of the 35+ toppings, for one price. The restaurant also serves custom entrée salads, an Oreo dessert pizza, and a selection of beer and wine.  

Most unique to PizzaRev, and what enables the restaurant’s unprecedented speed of service, is the custom-built, 900-degree stone-bed oven. Guests watch the dancing flames in the background as their pizzas are fired to a perfect, Roman-style crispiness in less than three minutes.
