Kneaders Bakery & Café Announces August 19 As Official Grand Opening Date For Second Tucson Location

Restaurant to Donate 10 Percent of Grand Opening Sales to Local Schools, Plus Free French Toast for First 100 Guests on August 19 & 20

August 16, 2016 // Franchising.com // TUCSON, AZ - The highly anticipated grand opening date of the second Tucson Kneaders location at the intersection of Craycroft and River Roads has been finalized. On August 19, Kneaders Bakery & Café will open its doors and introduce Northern Tucsonans to all the wonderful dishes that the restaurant is famous for.

Kneaders prides itself on being a family-focused restaurant that supports the communities it serves. As a resident of Northern Tucson, store operator Chase Clark is thrilled to bring Kneaders scratch-made breads, sandwiches, salads and pastries to the Catalina Foothills community.

“My entire career has been in the hospitality industry and it is now my pleasure to serve the area I call home,” Clark said. “This neighborhood is a vibrant community and our team intends to add to the development and liveliness of Northern Tucson. I look forward to providing a place that feels like home to all our guests.”  

To mark the official grand opening of this location, the media and community are invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Tucson Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, August 18 at 4:30 p.m.

The celebration will continue on August 19 and 20 when the first 100 guests who dine in the restaurant will receive a complimentary order of Kneaders famous Chunky Cinnamon French Toast. The Kneaders team has also announced that 10 percent of all grand opening weekend sales will be donated to local schools; another way Kneaders will give back and support the Tucson community.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Kneaders’ menu offers a wide variety of options. Specialties include made-to-order sandwiches such as the Turkey Bacon Avocado, fresh, tasty salads like the Chicken Citrus salad, specialty desserts including éclairs, and 14 varieties of scratch-made bread. All menu items are created using the highest-qualities ingredients. Kneaders also offers catering, online ordering capabilities and drive-thru service.

This new location at 3570 N. Craycroft Road will be open Monday – Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will bring close to 50 new jobs to the area. Additionally, all unsold bread from the end of each day will be donated on a regular basis to Casa de Los Niños, a Tucson-based organization that serves children in-need and participant in the National School Lunch Program.

In partnership with Four Foods Group, Kneaders franchise development company, this opening marks the second Tucson location and 17 in the state.
