uBreakiFix Opens In Seal Beach; Brings Tech Repair Option To Community

Fast-Growing Technology Repair Brand Emphasizes Focus on Customer Service and Affordable Device Repair

August 23, 2016 // Franchising.com // SEAL BEACH, CA. - uBreakiFix opened in Seal Beach on August 8th at 347 Main St. facing PCH. This is the first of three locations its owners Edwin Meza and Jeanne Fuentes plan on opening in Orange and Los Angeles County.

The growing technology repair company specializes in same-day repair service of cell phones and tablets with cracked screens, water damage, and software issues.  The company also specializes in repairing iPods, game consoles, laptops, desktops, TV’s, cameras and most anything with a power button.”  They proudly answer their phones asking “What can we fix for you today?”

Edwin Meza attended high school in Napa Valley and earned a full scholarship to St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, where he graduated with a 4.0.  He is currently working on his MBA, also with a scholarship funded by his previous employer, Mike Fernandez, and Magic Johnson.  Prior to opening his own uBreakiFix, Edwin worked for CVS and was in charge of business development for more than 3 years.  He managed several stores in Miami and is a natural in the retail industry. His love for technology and years of customer service experience helped him seamlessly transition into this company. His business partner, Jeanne Fuentes, is a successful real estate attorney in Miami.  Her years of transactional experience coupled with Edwin’s expertise made them an unstoppable team. Edwin’s familiarity with California made it a natural starting point for them.

uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 by savvy millennial duo Justin Wetherill and David Reiff. The pair later partnered with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar tech repair option that was quick, affordable and most importantly, provided a quality customer experience.
