uBreakiFix Opens Third Bexar County Location In Converse; Tech Repair Brand Expands In Texas

Fast-Growing Technology Repair Brand Emphasizes Focus on Customer Service and Affordable Device Repair

August 26, 2016 // Franchising.com // ORLANDO, FLA. - uBreakiFix opened in Converse on August 24 at 8340 W. Farm to Market Rd. 78. This is the seventh location in the Bexar County area, joining uBreakiFix Alamo Heights, uBreakiFix City Base Landing, uBreakiFix Blanco, uBreakiFix Huebner Oaks, uBreakiFix Selma and uBreakiFix Stone Oak.

The growing technology repair company specializes in same-day repair service of small electronics, repairing cracked screens, water damage, software issues, camera issues and most other technical problems at its more than 220 stores across North America.

The Converse location is owned and operated by Steven Barry. Barry spent six years in the Air Force working on the A-10 Warthog before deciding to pursue his longtime interest in technology through business ownership. He joined uBreakiFix because he admired the company’s values, team and growth record.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to provide affordable device repair to the Converse community,” Barry said. “I am passionate about bringing uBreakiFix to my community. The company embodies commitment to its customers and passion for technology. Our whole team shares those values, and it really makes a difference in the environment of our store.”

The increasing cost of devices has made technology replacement difficult and expensive, which motivated savvy millennial duo Justin Wetherill and David Reiff to provide another option. uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 and the pair later partnered with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar tech repair option that was quick, affordable and most importantly, provided a quality customer experience.

“We want to build trust with our customers by taking the traumatic experience of damaged devices and making the repair process simple,” said uBreakiFix founder Justin Wetherill. “As we expand into Converse, we want the community to know there are options beyond replacement, and uBreakiFix is here to provide them with a trusted alternative.”

uBreakiFix offers repair services for all brands of smartphones, tablets, computers and game consoles. The brand’s ability to fix anything with a power button sets it apart from the competition. Each repair comes with a 90-day warranty.

uBreakiFix opened 52 stores during the first and second quarters of 2016 and expects to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year.
