JDog Services Now Contracting Government Jobs

National Veteran-Run Franchise Designated a Veteran-Owned Small Business

BERWYN, Pa. - August 30, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, a company dedicated to increasing post-military career opportunities for veterans, announced a new branch of its franchise, JDog Services, which will perform government-contracted jobs. The news comes after the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), designated JDog Services a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB).

JDog is the U.S. Military Veteran Brand. JDog Services is a separate arm of the fast-growing national franchise, and will provide economical, environmentally-conscious waste management services for the government in territories across the country.

Being selected as a Veteran-Owned Small Business by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs reflects on the other recent successes of the company, including the addition of JDog Handyman, a handyman service branch of the company. The brand also recently established a partnership with the VA’s therapeutic Veterans’ employment program, Compensated Work Therapy (CWT), to provide additional work opportunities for veterans. With more than 75 franchise territories awarded in 27 states, JDog has been experiencing significant momentum.

JDog recycles and repurposes a substantial amount of the collected material. The Philadelphia-based company works closely with local and national organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, and local schools, churches and hospitals to donate useful items to those in need.
