Leading Tech Repair Brand uBreakiFix Opens Fourth Charlotte Location In Midtown

Fast-Growing Technology Repair Brand Emphasizes Focus on Customer Service and Affordable Device Repair

September 14, 2016 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE, N.C. - uBreakiFix opened in Charlotte’s Midtown on Sept.10 at 601 S. Kings Drive. This is the brand’s fourth location in the greater Charlotte area, joining locations in North Charlotte, East Charlotte and South Charlotte.

The growing technology repair company specializes in same-day repair service of small electronics, repairing cracked screens, water damage, software issues, camera issues and most other technical problems at its more than 230 stores across North America.

uBreakiFix Charlotte Midtown is owned by Adam Nations, Matthew Allen and Danny Rincon-Cruz, all of whom have been involved with uBreakiFix since 2010. The trio owns three of the four existing Charlotte locations and plans to open another location within the next year.

“It’s crazy to think that in our tech-driven world, there are many people who still don’t know that repair is an option,” Nations said. “We’re hoping to raise awareness by providing a convenient, enjoyable repair experience to the Midtown and Uptown communities. Not only is repair a quick, affordable option; it’s also a greener alternative to replacement because it helps to cut down on electronic waste.”

The increasing cost of devices has made technology replacement difficult and expensive, which motivated savvy millennial duo, Justin Wetherill and David Reiff, to provide another option. uBreakiFix was founded in 2009, and the pair later partnered with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar tech repair option that was quick, affordable and most importantly, provided a quality customer experience.

“We want to build trust with our customers by taking the traumatic experience of damaged devices and making the repair process simple,” said uBreakiFix founder Justin Wetherill. “As we expand throughout Charlotte, we want the community to know there are options beyond replacement, and uBreakiFix is here to provide them with a trusted alternative.”

uBreakiFix offers repair services for all brands of smartphones, tablets, computers and game consoles. The brand’s ability to fix anything with a power button sets it apart from the competition. Each repair comes with a 90-day warranty.

uBreakiFix opened 51 stores during the first and second quarters of 2016 and expects to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year.

uBreakiFix Charlotte Midtown is located at 601 S. Kings Dr. Suite M, Charlotte, N.C. 28204 and can be reached at (704) 315-5667.  For more information and to view a service menu, visit ubreakifix.com.
