CPR Cell Phone Repair and Computer Troubleshooters Announce Transformative Strategic Acquisition
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog - The Merrymeeting Group is pleased to announce that MMI-CPR, LLC (dba “Cell Phone Repair” and “CPR”) has acquired Computer Troubleshooters Global, Inc. (“CT”). CPR is the world’s largest retail, mobile device repair company with 270 retail store locations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Nigeria, India and Kuwait. CT is a large provider of IT services to consumers and the small to medium sized business community. CT has approximately 198 offices located throughout the world, primarily in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain.
Josh Sevick, the President of CPR, stated, “We are ecstatic about CPR’s acquisition of Computer Troubleshooters. Of the 468 CPR and CT service locations, very few offer both robust IT solutions and mobile device repair services. We are planning to both rapidly increase the number of CPR and CT service locations and to increase the number of locations that provide the full range of computer and mobile device repair services. The synergies between the two companies present some exciting opportunities.” Mr. Sevick went on to say, “We are focused on building a global organization and we believe that CT’s significant presence outside of North America will help CPR expand its retail store footprint into new, international markets. We are confident the acquisition will be a great benefit to both organizations and to their respective customers.”
