Petland Chillicothe Celebrates Anniversary With Adoption Day, K9 Demonstrations

October 05, 2016 // Franchising.com // Chillicothe, OH – In honor of Petland Chillicothe’s 49th anniversary, the Petland store on Bridge Street will be celebrating October 8th and 9th with adoption events, tent sale and K9 demonstrations.

The fun begins during the sneak preview event Friday evening when the Chillicothe Police Department Officers Michael Short and Chris King arrive with their K9 units Koby and Tobi for a demonstration of some of the unique skills they have acquired and how they assist the police department.

Petland of Chillicothe is partnering with Wet Kisses and Wagging Tails and Purrfect Companions for this fun-filled weekend. Wet Kisses and Wagging Tails will be there Friday, October 7th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Purrfect Companions will be on hand with adoptable cats and kittens on Saturday, October 9 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. October 10th from noon Petland and the Humane Society will also be accepting donations for the shelter for those unable to adopt. The Rebels youth baseball team will also be there on Saturday at 9 a.m. with a bake sale.

Petland is proud of its history in its hometown of Chillicothe and is excited to celebrate 49 years with the community.
