Young Chefs Academy Coming to Rogers

Local Entrepreneur to Bring Nationally Acclaimed Kids Cooking School to Northwest Arkansas

October 05, 2016 // Franchising.com // ROGERS, Ar. – Young Chefs Academy is ready to brighten the days of all aspiring young cooking masterminds in Rogers and surrounding neighborhoods.

Slated to open the first week of December, Young Chefs Academy will be offering the children of Northwest Arkansas the opportunity to explore and sharpen their inner epicure. Rogers residents Mary and Alfonso Vidal will be opening their Young Chefs Academy inside Village of the Creeks Plaza at 5208 Village Parkway, Suite 6 in Rogers, Arkansas.

“We want to make a difference in our community by teaching children the joy and value of cooking in a safe and fun environment” said Alfonso Vidal, owner of the Rogers Young Chefs Academy. “Young Chefs Academy is exactly what Mary and I were looking for. We cannot wait to offer opportunities for children to build lifelong skills through cooking.”

Young Chefs Academy is the country’s leading children’s cooking school, which has captivated the creativity of children across U.S. communities for more than a decade. Local Northwest Arkansas parents will now be able to obtain top-notch culinary instruction for their children.

“Designs to expand into the attractive area of Rogers have been in the works for some time,” said President Roger Schmidt. “The family-oriented culture makes this a great fit for Young Chefs Academy and we are exceptionally delighted to have Alfonso, Mary and their team lead the way into this market.”

Children enrolled in Young Chefs Academy will have the opportunity to participate in educational classes in a state-of-the-art kitchen. The curriculum at Young Chefs Academy is updated regularly with fresh monthly themes and exciting new programs with a strong focus on building culinary skills. Events and classes are fueled by the mantra, “mise en place,” which translates to “everything in its place.”

Tailored for young children discovering the kitchen in a KinderCooks® class, children in the Junior Chefs program and older students mastering concepts in the Senior Chefs group, there is a place and a lesson for every student to explore and grow through cooking. Each location also hosts birthdays and events for groups just looking for a taste of the Young Chefs experience.

Young Chefs Academy students can also benefit from opportunities connected to influential media partners, such as Food Network Magazine. Young Chefs Academy has hosted nationally recognized programs in conjunction with these and other partners, reaching both kids and adults across the nation with cooking tips and events to bring families together in the kitchen.
