Northern California McDonald's® Restaurants Support Ronald McDonald House Charities Fundraiser Throughout November

McDonald's restaurants in the greater Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto area will be selling "hands" in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Oct. 27, 2016 // PRNewswire // - McDonald's® customers in the Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto region will have the opportunity to donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California (RMHCNC) throughout the month of November.  McDonald's customers will be able to purchase a "hand" showcasing their support for the Charity and can put that hand they purchased in a special kiosk created specifically for Northern California McDonald's restaurants.  The donation amounts are in $1, $3, and $5 increments and come with a coupon for free small French Fry order or Hash Brown.  The Northern California McDonald's Restaurants are only one of two regions that are supporting this fundraiser for the entire month of November.

"Most McDonald's restaurants throughout the country are supporting the fundraiser for the first two weeks of November.  Earlier this year, the franchisees in the Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto region decided to support this fundraiser throughout the entire month to do a little more to support the local Ronald McDonald House here in Sacramento," said Steven Ramirez, a McDonald's franchise owner in Elk Grove and Modesto, and Global Chairman for Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc. "I am so honored to live in a region where support of a Charity that provides a home away from home from home for the families of sick children is such a priority.  We are excited to do what we can to help keep families close."
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California supports two local programs:  Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake and the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House. Camp Ronald McDonald provides a summer camp experience for children with special needs between Memorial Day and Labor Day of each year.  The Sacramento Ronald McDonald House allows families with a child who is interned at a local hospital for medical care with a place to stay so they can be close by to their child during their medical treatment.

"The funds raised at McDonald's restaurants during the month of November will go towards supporting our two programs here at Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California," said Stacey Hodge, Senior Director of Community Relations for RMHCNC.  "We are so fortunate to receive the support from the local McDonald's franchise owners, and we hope the customers in Northern Californiawill make those donations to support the families and kids who are in need of our services."

The fundraiser will go from November 1 – 30 at McDonald's restaurants throughout Northern California.  Restaurants in the following Northern California counties are participating in this month long promotion, which include:
