JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Establishes Partnership with Caring Transitions

National Franchise Teams Up with Senior Relocation and Transition Services Company

BERWYN, Pa. - October 31, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, a company dedicated to increasing post-military career opportunities for veterans, has signed a national partnership with Caring Transitions, establishing JDog as a trusted option for the senior relocation and transition services franchise.

Caring Transitions provides a range of professional amenities for senior relocation, downsizing, and estate liquidation. Built on compassion and care, the national transition services company works closely with families to assess belongings for proper liquidation services such as an on-line auction, estate sale or private buyer’s sale, declutter their residence and facilitate distribution of items to prepare for a relocation. Through the partnership, local JDog franchises will be available for Caring Transitions clients who need assistance clearing out their homes and hauling away large items.

“The Caring Transitions organization shares JDog’s mission to support veterans,” said Christopher Seman, President of Caring Transitions. “As we provide services to families undergoing life changes, we want to align with companies that will have that same passion and care for our clients.”

JDog franchises are offered exclusively to military veterans and their family members. Franchisees operate easily recognizable, camouflage vehicles and trailers and wear military-style uniforms. With more than 110 franchise territories awarded in 29 states, the company is experiencing rapid growth.

“This partnership provides an additional opportunity for our franchisees to give back to their local community, and provide Caring Transition customers with a trusted JDog experience,” said Kevin Kopa, the Vice President of Corporate Services at JDog. “We are honored to partner with an organization that prides itself on helping the community and whose support ultimately lends a hand to our mission of ending veteran unemployment.”

JDog recycles and repurposes a substantial amount of the collected material. The Philadelphia-based company works closely with local and national organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, and local schools, churches and hospitals to donate useful items to those in need.
