Hilton Announces Signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Detroit Bloomfield Hills Following Multi-Million Dollar Renovation of Michigan Landmark
November 01, 2016 // Franchising.com // Bloomfield Hills, MI and MCLEAN, VA – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and Kingsley Hospitality, LLC today announced the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Detroit Bloomfield Hills. Formally the historic Kingsley Inn, the 147-room hotel will undergo a $10 million revitalization this fall and will feature a full-service restaurant, indoor pool and 11,396 square feet of flexible meeting space. Hotel Investment Services, Inc. will operate the hotel, which is expected to open in fall 2017.

Originally built in 1958, the hotel is located in one of Michigan’s most affluent residential communities. Known as a financial hub for southeast Michigan, the Bloomfield Hills area is home to numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Google, and Volkswagen of America.
