November 01, 2016 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Paying homage to its founding notion that there is demand for NY-style fast casual pizza, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza has signed a 3-store development agreement with franchisee, Rajesh Parihar, in upstate New York – specifically, the areas of Albany County, Saratoga County and the City of Troy. These three units will be the first Uncle Maddio’s Pizzas in the state of New York.
Uncle Maddio’s founder and CEO, Matt Andrew, always sensed that New York-style pizza was a consumer favorite. So when the industry research found that a majority of pizza lovers do, in fact, prefer the NY-style crust to any other pizza style, his suspicions were confirmed.
Hand-tossed with a thin golden crust, Uncle Maddio’s New York-style pizza has no doubt been a massive hit across the country. The fast casual, make-your-own concept allows guests to build-their-own pizza, choosing from one of three crusts, 48 toppings, six sauces, 27 vegetables and 15 meats.

Parihar has 19 years in IT industry and consulting business. Parihar lives in Latham area and says that he is always eager to bring new dining options and great NY-style, create your own pizza to the upstate NY area.
