U.S. Lawns Gives Back During Annual Conference

Volunteers from U.S. Lawns helping the Center for Drug Free Living

ORLANDO, FL (PRWEB) December 09, 2016 - U.S. Lawns, a commercial landscape maintenance company, recently shared the details of their annual conference. The event was held in Orlando, FL, at Renaissance Sea World. Attendees included franchisees, managers, and family members from 42 states.

On one of the mornings of the conference, U.S. Lawns bussed in over 50 participants to volunteer at The Center for Drug Free Living (William R. Just Center) in downtown Orlando. The center’s primary focus is to provide substance abuse services. The volunteers cleaned and painted an exercise park, painted the interior spaces of living quarters, weeded and cleaned a veteran rock garden, trimmed trees and shrubs around the property, and assembled new furniture for their dining building. The franchisees’ children in attendance also pitched in by painting artwork as gifts for the residents.

“We were so proud of the response we received from our franchisees and their continued commitment to helping others in our communities,” said Ken Hutcheson, President of U.S. Lawns. “I truly appreciate their efforts and I was thrilled to participate in the work that day.”

The center serves both individuals and families, helping prepare them for a lifestyle centered on wellness and responsibility.
