PostNet Signs Franchise Agreement to Open New Center at The College of New Jersey

Leading Printing Franchise Continues Expansion in New Jersey, Northeastern Region of U.S.

February 16, 2017 // Franchising.com // Ewing, N.J. - PostNet, the leading franchise in the printing and shipping industry, announced it has signed a franchise agreement to open a new center at The College of New Jersey in the Trenton suburb of Ewing Township, N.J.

The new PostNet franchise, which will be owned and operated by local entrepreneur Scott Yellin, is slated to open in the coming months. The business will offer students, faculty, neighbors and local businesses full-service printing and finishing services; packaging and shipping with UPS, FedEx, DHL and the U.S. Postal Service; and ancillary business services, like private mailbox rental.

Yellin spent many years working in his family’s printing business, which was founded in 1961 in nearby Burlington County. Shortly after his father passed away in 2013, his family made the difficult decision to sell the business. A couple years later, Yellin decided to re-enter the printing industry and become a PostNet franchise owner.

“I chose to open a PostNet business because I have always found the way the printing industry combines art and science fascinating, the way the marketplace compels you to adapt to new technologies both challenging and stimulating, and the opportunity to produce quality products on time and on budget satisfying,” said Yellin. “The campus of TCNJ is a perfect place for a PostNet, in my opinion, since the creative, technology-driven needs and expectations of an academic community will surely be complemented by the progressive and innovative list of goods and services that PostNet provides.”

The College of New Jersey location marks the ninth PostNet franchise in the state of New Jersey and is a part of the brand’s aggressive expansion plans for the Northeastern part of the U.S. Earlier this year, PostNet opened its first-ever center in Connecticut, its first center on a college campus in West Virginia, as well as its sixth location in New York.

“We're thrilled to continue our expansion throughout the Northeastern United States and to bring PostNet to The College of New Jersey campus,” said Steve Greenbaum, CEO and co-founder of PostNet. “Scott is such a talented and passionate business professional, and we’re excited to have him in the PostNet family.”
